Guidelines for Parents
Ensuring a Supportive and Productive Learning Environment for Your Child
Important Guidelines
Please follow these guidelines to support your child's learning and maintain a productive partnership with the school.
1Stay Updated : Parents are requested to give due importance to their ward’s handbook, for it conveys to them ,the academic and the general activities of their ward and the School.
2Handbook Review : It is advisable for the parents to go through the handbook for their ward daily
3Track Activities : Keeping a track of the hand book, the parents are expected to look into the following entries:Functions, Programmes, Extra curricular activities, Late attendance, Permission taken ,Absence record, Homework entry,Term report, Attendance uniform irregularities, Examination timetables and portions allotted etc.,
4Homework Acknowledgement : Parents are informed to acknowledge all the entries made, wherever needed. It is the responsibility to see if their ward completes the home work or assignments daily.
5Monitor Progress : A close observation of the hand book will help in the early detection of any deviation on the part of the student, enabling the parent to discuss the matter with the class teacher or the subject teacher or with the supervisory head or with the principal.
6Bio Data Details : Parents are requested to fill in the details called for, in the bio data sheets of the handbook. One copy of the bio-data sheet will be taken for the school records and the other copy will be retained in the handbook.
7Handbook Maintenance : The hand book should be maintained neatly.Tearing off the pages of scribbling unwanted details in the handbook are strictly prohibited.
8Communication : Parents should not communicate through the handbook. Any communication should be written separately in a letter form and should be addressed to the class teacher only.
9Lost Handbook : The loss of the handbook should be brought to the notice of the class teacher. If not found, a new book should be purchased at the school office.
